This menu will provide you access to the HHABN seminar being released over the Home Care Information Network on Monday, March 20, 2006. HCIN will be streaming this seminar to home care agencies throughout the U.S. for a minimum of three months and 26 state home care associations have indicated that they will be promoting this seminar to their members.

 

The seminar is one hour and 17 minutes in total length.  The presentation portion lasts approximately one hour. The balance of the seminar is a question and answer session during which HCIN faculty, Trish Tulloch and Bob Markette, respond to the most frequently asked questions received prior to recording this session on March 17, 2006.

Among the seminar features you should pay particular attention to are:

 

• The presentation handout that accompanies this seminar (accessed from the “Details” button) includes copies of all slides, sample forms and a Clinician’s Quick Reference Guide that should be particularly useful for field staff.
• Faculty bios are also accessed by clicking on the “Details” button.
• Viewers can link directly from the presentation window to the CMS web site to download copies of the HHABN instructions and revised forms.
• The “Ask” button is active for this seminar and it will automatically open the viewer’s e-mail program to send questions to a special mailbox set up for this seminar. A viewers-only FAQ page will be available shortly.
• A 15-question post-test can also be accessed from the presentation window. This presently is presented as a PDF, as we have not yet activated our on-line interactive testing capability.

We have two versions of the HHABN seminar available. One includes audio, video and slides and is best viewed over a high speed Internet connection. The “audio only” version we have prepared includes the audio track and slides (video is suppressed). It is intended for users that only have dial-up Internet access available.
