Community Health Accreditation Program to
Begin Using CETstream

December 2008
– HCIN Sales and Marketing Director, Randy Weisheit, announced that the Community Health Accreditation Program
has selected HCIN’s CETstream remote rich media broadcasting platform to create
online training programs for their users. According to Wesiheit,
“CHAP’s first broadcast will be in January 2009,
and we expect they will be offering both on-demand and live events to their
clients on a regular basis.” CHAP is an independent, non-profit accrediting
body that serves home care, hospice and home medical equipment providers
throughout the U.S.

End-of-Life Nursing Education
Consortium Selects Hospice Education Network

December 2008
– In a December 10th press release, the End-of-Life Nursing Education
Consortium (ELNEC) announced that it has chosen the Hospice Education Network (HEN) to
provide its curriculum of end-of-life issues to individuals and
organizations. According to Betty Ferrell, PhD, FAAN, Principal Investigator
of the ELNEC project, "The Hospice Education Network has the
technology to make these programs available to individuals and institutions
that have limited resources and would otherwise be unable to participate in
the training. It is one of the most effective methods we have seen to
provide this very important education to clinicians regardless of
setting." HEN is owned and operated by Weatherbee
Resources, Inc., based in Hyannis,
MA, and utilizes Stony Hill
Management’s CETstream platform
to capture and broadcast online courses.

Stony Hill Management Inks Deal with
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin
|

November 2008 –
Stony Hill Management CEO, Tom Williams, announced that his company has
entered into a contract with Children’s
Hospital of Wisconsin Specialty Group to begin live broadcasting of
monthly Grand Rounds in January 2009. “We are excited about the prospect of
working with Children’s” said Williams. “CHW is regularly ranked among the
top children’s hospitals in the nation and this will be an outstanding
opportunity for us to demonstrate our technology to Wisconsin
and Illinois
physicians at the same time we are providing them valuable education.”
Presentations broadcast live will be archived for on-demand viewing and
physicians will be given CME credit for participating.

State Home Care Associations Install
CETstream Technology

November 2008
– Four additional state home care associations will begin using CETstream to regularly communicate with
their members according to Randy Weisheit, HCIN Sales and Marketing
Director. “Equipment has already been installed at the Oregon,
Washington state, Massachusetts
and New Mexico
association offices,” said Weisheit. “These organizations join the Texas and California
associations which both installed CETstream gear earlier this year.” HCIN
is providing state home care associations that enter into partnership
agreements no cost/low cost access to the company’s rich media broadcasting
capabilities.

Johns Hopkins Medicine International Launches
CETstream Pilot

October 2008 –
Staff from Johns Hopkins Medicine
International introduced CETstream
to attendees at their annual Partners Conference in Baltimore this month. JHMI entered into a
contract with Stony Hill Management earlier this year to implement
CETstream on a pilot basis to manage distribution of rich media content to
users at its 14 partner organizations, located on four continents. “JHMI
will be using their own equipment to record and broadcast the seminars that
they have produced,” said Tom Williams, Stony Hill CEO. “Our software will
manage their content library and will control access for users at their
partner organizations.” Williams expects his company to begin work on a
second phase project with JHMI after the first of the year should the pilot
implementation be well-received by partner organizations.

October 2008 – In a rich media broadcast
distributed to more than 10,000 home care executives, Stony Hill Management
president, Tom Williams, and HCIN Sales and Marketing Director, Randy Weisheit,
announced that the company’s CETstream
remote capture technology would debut at this year’s Annual Meeting of the
National Association for Home Care. According to Weisheit, CETstream
combines off-the-shelf video conferencing technology with Sonic Foundry’s
capture and broadcasting platform to provide users the ability to remotely
create rich media presentations. “We expect CETstream will be of great
interest to multi-site providers who are struggling with training as the
cost to travel from location to location continues to increase,” Weisheit

Home Telemedicine Seminars Captured at
ATA Mid-Year Meeting

– More than a dozen seminars were captured by HCIN at the American
Telemedicine’s mid-year conference held in Tampa, Florida,
September 14-16. Educational sessions at this meeting focused on
application of remote monitoring technology in a home care and paediatric
care. HCIN will begin broadcasting these seminars in mid-October to
registered viewers who can log in at the HCIN home page (www.homecareinformation.net)

Live Broadcast Network Launched by HCIN

May 2008 –
HCIN president, Tom Williams, announced the launch of his company’s live
broadcast network following a successful live video streamed seminar
conducted on May 14, 2008 featuring RBC
Limited’s Trish Tulloch. According to Williams, development of HCIN’s live broadcast capability began early in 2008
and the company already has remote video broadcast units installed at a
number of locations throughout the U.S. “Home care associations in Texas
(Austin) and California (Sacramento) have installed units to broadcast live
to their members and we also have units installed in five other cities for
use by our speakers and business partners,” Williams said.

May 2008 – The
Home Care Information Network (Stony Hill Management) has been selected as
one of two finalists for the 2008 Rich Media Impact Award in
Healthcare. The other finalist is Johns Hopkins
Center for Clinical Global Health Education.
The Rich Media Impact Awards program was created by Sonic Foundry to recognize
excellence in the practical and creative integration of Mediasite in education,
business, health and government. Nominees include organizations that
achieved measurable improvements in information accessibility, cost
savings, efficiency and productivity through use of Mediasite. HCIN’s nomination came in just the company’s second
year of operation. Awards are to be presented at ceremonies in Madison, WI
on May 14, 2008.

HCIN Announces 2007 Results, First Quarter Releases
January 2008 – Home Care Information Network
president, Tom Williams, announced in a January
24 broadcast interview that HCIN’s student
enrollment exceeded 20,000 during 2007. He also disclosed that more than
50% of Medicare-certified home care providers in the U.S. have
registered to view at least one HCIN course over the company’s
state-of-the-art video streaming network since its launch in spring 2006. Williams’ announcement included information
on more than 20 new courses HCIN is introducing during
first quarter 2008. These
include courses from Fazzi Associates, RBC Limited, Selman-Holman &
Associates, Gilliland & Markette, Five Star Consulting and Dr. Wanda
Saed. He also announced new state-specific educational programs targeting
home care and hospice administrators being launched for the Texas Association for Home Care and Associated Home Health Industries of Florida.

ATA Legislative
Advocacy Sessions Streamed Over HCIN
January 2008 – The American Telemedicine Association on
January 17, 2008 conducted a series of presentations on legislative
advocacy for members of the association’s Board of Directors and Executive
Committee. Organized by Reed Franklin, ATA Senior Director of Public
Policy, the half-day gathering was held in the U.S. Capitol’s Rayburn House Office
Building. The
sessions were captured by HCIN for video streaming to all ATA members
beginning in February. HCIN will be showcasing its web-based remotely
hosted educational system at ATA’s upcoming
annual meeting in Seattle,
WA, April 6-8.

Colorado HCIN Office
Opens
December 2007 – The Home Care Information
Network has opened an office in Colorado
Springs, CO to
service clients and seminar presenters in western states. This office will also
serve as the hub for the company’s live-broadcasting initiative, expected
to be launched in early 2008. According to HCIN president Tom Williams, “We
have a small office set up in the Springs that includes all of the
equipment necessary to capture and broadcast content over the Internet.
With the introduction of live-broadcast capabilities next year, I expect
this operation will expand quickly.” This is the third location at which
HCIN has set up video capture and broadcasting capability. The company has
a complete video production studio in its Fredonia,
WI headquarters and the Hospice Education Network has
similar capability in their Centerville,
MA office.

Hospice Foundation of America to Utilize Hospice
Education Network
September 2007 – The Hospice Foundation of America
(HFA) announced the development of a strategic alliance with the Hospice Education Network (HEN),
an innovative, online training resource developed specifically for hospice
programs. In a September
12 press release, David Abrams, HFA’s
President and CEO said, “By collaborating with HEN, we will be able to
provide hospice programs access to our grief and bereavement resources in
streaming video format over the Internet.” To begin their collaboration,
HFA and HEN will offer the hospice industry and other interested
professionals and groups subscription access to HFA’s past annual grief and bereavement
teleconferences. HEN is HCIN’s hospice partner
and utilizes the company’s web-based remotely hosted educational system to
broadcast HFA and HEN video streamed content over the Internet.

Group Broadcast
September 2007 – HCIN CEO Tom Williams was the
featured presenter at the MediaSite User Group meeting
that was broadcasted live over the Internet on September 18. The broadcast
originated from Sonic Foundry’s Madison, WI headquarters and was hosted by Central Michigan
University, Herbert
H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions. During his 30-minute
presentation, Tom reviewed HCInterprise, the remotely hosted content management

VNAA Announces Agreement to Broadcast Chronic Care Seminars
over HCIN
August 2007 – Recently appointed Visiting Nurse Associations of America CEO,
Andy Carter, announced in an August
13 press release that his organization has entered into a partnership
agreement with HCIN to produce and stream seminars for the VNAA’s Chronic
Care Clearinghouse. “The goal of this collaboration
between VNAA and HCIN is to bring value to member agencies,” Carter stated.
“The partnership allows VNAA to expand our ability to provide members with
convenient, state of the art educational content on clinical, regulatory,
administrative and business developments at minimal expense.” The
CCC is a grant-supported educational venture offering clinical education in
caring for persons with Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure and Chronic
Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. It is funded by Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention (CDC), LANTUS, an insulin drug provided by Sanofi Aventis, and the American Heart Association

Launches Hospice Education Network
July 2007 – Heather Wilson, PhD, president of
MA-based Weatherbee
Resources announced her company’s launch of the Hospice Education Network on July
30. Utilizing HCIN’s state-of-the-art video streaming
capabilities and remotely hosted software, HEN will offer courses for both
hospice staff and volunteers. Wilson
said the HEN will open its doors with 50 courses from leading hospice
experts already recorded and that additional content was already in
development. Weatherbee
is the hospice industry’s leading consulting company and is widely known
for its regulatory compliance educational products and training programs.

HCIN Broadcasts State Association Annual Meetings
June 2007 – HCIN Marketing and Sales Director
Randy Weisheit announced that his company has just completed recording of
more than 30 presentations made at state association annual meetings in FL,
CA and OR, and that he expected broadcasts of these sessions to members
will begin during July. “All three of these associations are HCIN partners
and they are hoping that broadcasting these seminars over the Internet will
increase members’ comfort level with video streamed education,” Weisheit
said. Agencies that attended these association conferences will be given a
free 60-day viewing period and will be able to extend this for a nominal
fee. Agencies that did not attend can purchase the seminars from their
association. Weisheit expects additional associations will take advantage

Mays Home Health Featured in Home Care Automation Report
February 2007 – Antlers OK-based Mays Housecall
Home Health, was featured in a February
17 Home Care Automation Report article discussing HCIN’s
first implementation of its enterprise solution for large multi-site
providers. HCIN installed a MediaSite ML440
recorder and related video and audio equipment needed by Mays to develop
their own video streamed training programs for the agency’s +500 staff.
Once fully operational, in-house content will be integrated with courses
purchased from HCIN to offer a comprehensive training program to staff at
May’s 30 office locations in OK and TX.
